Terms of Service
Web Hosting Plus is a service provided by WorldWide Plus. We reserve the right to suspend or cancel a customer's access to any or all services provided by Web Hosting Plus when we decide that the account has been inappropriately used or otherwise.
Personal accounts are to be used by the primary owner only. Personal account holders are not permitted to store or give away web hosting services of their website to other parties. Web hosting services are defined as allowing a separate, third party to host content on the owner's web site. Exceptions to this include ad banners, classified ads, and personal ads. Hosting accounts must not be used as a file backup or upload/download service, i.e. the web space provided should only be used to store files directly related to the operation of your website and not for general file storage.
We reserve the right to refuse service and/or access to our servers at any time.
We do not allow any of the following content to be stored on our servers:
- This includes copyrighted works, commercial audio, video, or music files, and any material in violation of any Federal, State or Local regulation.
- Includes all pornography, erotic images, or otherwise lewd or obscene content. The designation of "adult material" is left entirely to the discretion of Web Hosting Plus.
- Includes pirated software, ROMs, emulators, phreaking, hacking, password cracking. IP spoofing, etc., and encrypting of any of the above. Also includes any sites which provide "links to" or "how to" information about such material.
We do not tolerate the sending of 'spam', 'junk' or 'unsolicited' mail through our system. However, you are permitted to send mail to a valid 'opt-in' mailing list (i.e. to customers, members or subscribers) as provided with our own 'Mailing List' feature. Account holders are responsible for insuring that any scripts installed within their web space are secure so that they are not used for mass email sending, either directly or via an outside source. Where email abuse is found to have been used on an account, we reserve the right to suspend or close that account.
Unlimited Use Policy
High bandwidth usage:
We offer an unlimited use policy by maintaining very large ratios of bandwidth per customer. In rare cases, we may find a customer to be using server resources to such an extent that he or she may jeopardise server performance and resources for other customers. In such instances, we reserve the right to impose the High Resource User Policy for the consideration of all customers.

Resources are defined as bandwidth and/or processor utilisation. We may implement the following policy at our sole discretion:
When a website is found to be monopolising the resources available, we reserve the right to suspend that site immediately. This policy is only implemented in extreme circumstances and is intended to prevent the misuse of our servers.
Email Mailbox Non-Usage Policy
Your domain and/or hosting order includes the number of mailboxes applicable to that domain or hosting package as specified on our website. However, we reserve the right to delete from our system any mailboxes that have not been accessed for one hundred (100) clear days. This policy is only ever used in very rare situations (i.e. where a large quantity of email is going into an unused or abandoned mailbox). This does not apply to email forwarding addresses.
All accounts are set up on a recurring prepay basis. Although we reserve the right to change prices of accounts or services at any time all pricing is guaranteed for the period of prepayment. Payment is due each anniversary year(s) or month(s) following the date the account was established. Customers may either have the option of submitting a renewal payment, or may automatically be charged again at the end of their prepay period unless closure notification has already been processed. For recurring payments, we will advise customers of the forthcoming renewal payment prior to the due date.
In situations where the card number on file (if applicable) is declined, or a payment has not been received, we will immediately suspend the facility to purchase services online until the outstanding charge is processed successfully. In addition, we reserve the right to suspend other services until the outstanding debt is cleared. The customer is responsible for all money owed on the account from the time it was established to the time that the customer submits a cancellation request. If a cancellation request is submitted after the due date for hosting or Optional Extras then we reserve the right to make either an admin charge or a part or full charge for services beyond the renewal date where costs have already been incurred by us.
No bills or renewal reminders will be sent by regular postal mail. All renewal reminders will be sent directly to customers via email prior to the renewal date.
All payments are in GB Pounds Sterling.
You are required to have a valid and working email address registered on your account at all times. If we are unable to deliver email reminders to you, and your account is unpaid, this could result in account or domain suspension, or deletion.
If renewal payment is not received within seven (7) days from the service expiry date, a late payment fee of £10.00 may be charged. If renewal payment is not received within thirty (30) days from the service expiry date, your web hosting account will be suspended. If renewal payment is then not received within fifty (50) days from suspension, we reserve the right to close the account, delete any web and email data held on our system, and pass any unpaid fees onto a Debt Collection Agency.
Optional Extra renewal payments must be paid no later than the expiry date for the Optional Extra(s) in question. If renewal payment is not received by the renewal date, we reserve the right to remove the Optional Extra from your account and remove (delete) any data corresponding to that Optional Extra (i.e. data within an MS SQL database) within twenty-four (24) hours of the expiry date.
We accept payment via any of the payment options shown on our order page. This includes payment by PayPal, major credit/debit cards, and PayPal eCheque payments. Payment by cheque, postal order or money orders is no longer accepted. However, we do accept alternative payment via Online Banking and Bank Transfer. Please contact us for details.
30 Day Money Back Guarantee
For customers opening their first account, the initial thirty (30) days are available with a money back guarantee. Customers will not be entitled to this benefit if they have previously had an account with us unless the period of absence has been greater than one (1) year. New customers will not be entitled to a trial period if any account has previously been created at the same postal address within the same twelve (12) month time-span.
Cancellations and Refunds
We reserve the right to cancel the service at any time. In this event customers will be entitled to a credit based upon the remaining period of membership. If a customer contravenes the terms of service a credit will not be issued in the event of a cancellation.
Customers may cancel their account at any time once any outstanding payments on the account are paid. When a customer decides to cancel their service, it is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the account is cancelled with us. A cancellation can only be processed from our cancellation page. Cancellations cannot be processed by any other method. To simply stop using the service does not constitute a cancellation; the service must actually be cancelled with us, otherwise any service fees will still apply. During the initial thirty (30) day period, customers who wish to cancel will be entitled to a full refund for their hosting fees, excluding any Optional Extras and domain registration costs. Any incentives offered to customers when opening the account will also be cancelled. Customers may be given the option to purchase services which were offered as start-up incentives in the result of a cancellation.
Fees charged on a prepay basis are non-refundable. Once the initial thirty (30) day period has expired customers are not entitled to receive a refund unless the service is cancelled by us. In addition, some accounts may incur admin or processing fees, these charges are also non-refundable. This includes domain registration fees and payment for Optional Extras.
Customer agrees that it shall defend, indemnify, save and hold Web Hosting Plus harmless from any and all demands, liabilities, losses, costs and claims, including reasonable attorney's fees asserted against Web Hosting Plus, its agents, its customers, officers and employees, that may arise or result from any service provided or performed or agreed to be performed or any product sold by customer, its agents, employees or assigns. Customer agrees to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Web Hosting Plus against liabilities arising out of; (1) any injury to person or property caused by any products sold or otherwise distributed in connection with Web Hosting Plus' servers; (2) any material supplied by customer infringing or allegedly infringing on the proprietary rights of a third party; (3) copyright infringement and (4) any defective products sold to customer from Web Hosting Plus' servers.
Web Hosting Plus will not be responsible for any damages your business may suffer. Web Hosting Plus makes no warranties of any kind, expressed or implied for services we provide. Web Hosting Plus disclaims any warranty or merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. This includes loss of data resulting from delays, non-deliveries, wrong delivery, and any and all service interruptions caused by Web Hosting Plus and its employees. Web Hosting Plus reserves the right to revise its policies at any time.
